Wolcott mills farm

If you are looking to bring your family to a low cost, fun filled location, bring them to Wolcott mills farm located between Romeo and Armada.  I recently brought my family to this working farm and we had a blast.

About the farm.  Wolcott mills farm is part of the Wolcott Metro park.  If you do not know where the farm is, you can find directions by searching through their website.  The farm is within a short driving distance from many northern metro Detroit suburbs.

The farm has everything that a farm set up for the public should have.  The Wolcott mills farm has cows, horses, pigs, chickens, turkeys to name a few.  You can even watch the cows being milked at 10 am.  The farm also has an area set up as a garden and a play area for the kids.

The Wolcott farm is the perfect location for a guy like myself trying to save money but still trying to find fun things for the family to do.  In fact, the Wolcott mills farm seemed to be free.  I didn't see any areas to pay or people collecting money although during special events there seemed to be a charge.  Now that is my kind of a place!

After visiting the Wolcott farm, I will definitely be planning another trip.  I urge you to do yourself a favor and do the same.  You will be glad you did.
